Na’eem Offord, the sixth-ranked football recruit for the class of 2025, announces his commitment to Ohio State.

Ohio State’s recruiting success continues with the commitment of five-star cornerback Na’eem Offord on Sunday.

Offord, ranked as the No. 6 prospect in the 2025 class and the top cornerback, hails from Birmingham, Alabama, standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 185 pounds. He opted for Ohio State over offers from prominent programs like Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Tennessee, and others.

During a family visit to Ohio State this weekend, Offord made the decision to commit to the Buckeyes.

His commitment boosts Ohio State’s tally to seven ESPN Junior 300 commitments in the 2025 cycle, with Offord being the third cornerback. Notably, Offord holds the highest ranking among Ohio State’s commits, surpassing cornerbacks Devin Sanchez (No. 11 overall) and Blake Woodby (No. 28 prospect in the class).

In the 2024 cycle, Ohio State secured the No. 3 class overall and bolstered its roster with top-notch transfers such as safety Caleb Downs, quarterbacks Will Howard and Julian Sayin, and running back Quinshon Judkins.

With Offord now part of the team, Ohio State’s 2025 class is off to an impressive start, solidifying its position as one of the best classes in the making.
