Clifford Omoruyi, the current visitor to the UNC basketball program, is poised to reveal his decision in less than two days.

The timing of Omoruyi’s decision announcement, coupled with his visit with the Tar Heels, appears promising for UNC’s head coach Hubert Davis and his team.

During his visit, Omoruyi disclosed to On3’s Joe Tipton that he will unveil his decision on Sunday.

Having recently narrowed down his options to UNC, Georgetown, Alabama, and Kansas State, Omoruyi has limited his choices to the programs he has visited since entering the transfer portal on March 20.

As of now, there are no predictions from 247Sports Crystal Ball insiders regarding Omoruyi’s decision.

UNC basketball faces a significant gap in its lineup following the departure of Armando Bacot, the former five-year starting center. They have yet to secure a proven replacement for him.

Omoruyi, the top undecided center in the transfer portal, boasts impressive stats, averaging 10.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and leading the Big Ten with 2.9 blocks per game in the past season. Standing at 6-foot-11 and weighing 240 pounds, he is a two-time Big Ten All-Defensive Team member and has consistently ranked among the conference’s top five in rebounds over the past two seasons.
