Missouri’s recruiting momentum continued to build Tuesday as Eli Drinkwitz and his staff secured another significant commitment, flipping a talented offensive lineman away from Michigan. The move gives the Tigers another important addition to their rapidly growing 2027 recruiting class.

The Tigers made strengthening the offensive line a major priority in this cycle, and Missouri’s coaching staff viewed the Southlake, Texas standout as one of the key pieces needed to bolster the future of the position. Their relentless pursuit eventually paid off.

Tristan Dare, a 6-foot-4, 290-pound interior offensive lineman from Southlake Carroll High School, announced his commitment to Missouri after previously being pledged to Michigan. The three-star prospect becomes the fourth offensive line commitment in the Tigers’ 2027 class and marks another recruiting win over a national powerhouse.

Dare has been a frequent topic among Missouri recruiting circles throughout the cycle. Rated as a three-star prospect by major recruiting services, he also held notable offers from Arizona State, Washington, and Michigan before ultimately choosing the Tigers.

With another coveted target now in the fold, Missouri continues to gain momentum on the recruiting trail. The Tigers’ ability to flip Dare from Michigan underscores the growing appeal of the program and highlights the staff’s determination to land the players they view as essential to their future plans.
