Although Arkansas football has a significant journey ahead to secure a spot in the College Football Playoff (CFP), Athletic Director Hunter Yurachek will wield influence in the crucial decisions of who qualifies and who doesn’t in the near term.
Executive Director Bill Hancock disclosed Yurachek’s selection to the CFP Selection Committee on Thursday. Yurachek is set to be a part of the 13-person selection committee for the upcoming three football seasons, particularly as the CFP expands to a 12-team playoff format scheduled to commence after the conclusion of the 2024 regular season.
