Former charlton star player give reasons why he departed from the team to join…

He departed the Valley, where residents are now uncomfortably close to facing a relegation battle, to join the Rams, who are actively pursuing promotion and currently hold the second position in the league.

Derby secured the services of the winger by paying £300,000 for his loan move until the season’s end. Subsequently, he is set to sign a three-year deal with his new club.

According to the Derby Telegraph, Derby manager Paul Warne identified Blackett-Taylor as the top target in the transfer window. Warne had attempted a late move for the 26-year-old on the final day of the summer transfer window, but it was unsuccessful. Recognizing a need for added pace in the attacking lineup, Warne successfully completed the move well before the window closed.

The winger has revealed the factors influencing his decision to join Derby, with the presence of the manager in the home dugout at Pride Park playing a significant role.
