The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially inked a reserve/future deal with Nate Meadors, a former defensive back from the Cleveland Browns, according to an announcement by the team. Meadors, aged 26, had previously joined the Steelers’ practice squad towards the end of the 2023 season, but he was released before their playoff match against the Buffalo Bills. Now, he is set to rejoin the team in preparation for OTAs and training camp, presenting him with another opportunity to secure a spot on the roster in his sixth NFL season.

Initially, Meadors entered the league as an undrafted free agent from UCLA and signed with the Minnesota Vikings. During his two-year tenure with the Vikings, he played in three games. Subsequently, he has had stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, Tennessee Titans, and most recently, the Cleveland Browns.
