Georgia secured the commitment of London Humphreys, formerly with Vanderbilt Commodores, marking the addition of the top-ranked wide receiver available in the transfer portal. Humphreys, who tallied 22 receptions for 439 yards last season, notably including a 49-yard touchdown catch against the Georgia Bulldogs, joins the team.

Standing at 6 feet 3 inches, Humphreys is anticipated to make a significant impact at the “X” position, offering valuable depth to the receiving unit. This addition is crucial considering potential departures from the Bulldogs’ roster following the conclusion of their 2023 season.

Among those potentially leaving are several players eligible for the NFL Draft, such as tight end Brock Bowers, offensive lineman Amarius Mims, cornerback Kamari Lassiter, and others, indicating a significant shift in the team’s composition after this season.
