Powell became Graham Alexander’s 10th addition of the summer, completing his move at the University of Bradford Stadium after his time with Stockport County across the Pennines.
During his stint with the Hatters, the attacking midfielder helped secure the Sky Bet League Two title in 2024. He also has third-tier silverware to his name, having lifted the League One trophy with Wigan Athletic back in 2018.
A product of Crewe Alexandra and a former Manchester United player, Powell has featured in nearly 200 Championship matches for Wigan and Stoke City, amassing 48 goals and 19 assists.
