Bradford City AFC is thrilled to confirm the arrival of Tom McIntyre on a season-long loan from Sky Bet Championship side Portsmouth.

The 26-year-old centre-back, who has made over 100 appearances in the Championship, brings a wealth of experience to strengthen the Bantams’ defence.

A former Scotland youth international, McIntyre celebrated promotion last season with Charlton and previously lifted the League One title with Portsmouth in 2023/24.

Speaking on the move, McIntyre said:
“When Bradford City showed interest, it was an opportunity I knew I wanted to take. This is a huge club with a proud history and incredible supporters. I’m excited to wear the shirt and give everything for the team. Up the Bantams!”

Manager Graham Alexander added:
“Bringing Tom in is a big boost for us. He has played regularly at Championship level, knows what it takes to win promotion, and is motivated to make an impact. We’re looking forward to seeing him settle quickly and enjoy his football here.”
